The Beverly Hillbillies

The Beverly Hillbillies is a TV comedy that originally aired for nine seasons on CBS from 1962 to 1971. The show drew 60 million viewers a week in its peak years. Jed and his family move to Beverly Hills. For the nine years all kinds of comical things come about. They try to get their gorgeous daughter Elly May married. Their nephew Jethro gets an education -- he finishes the sixth grade. Granny gets wooed by various men. And Jed buys a movie studio.
