Sands of Iwo Jima
Devil dog Sgt. John Stryker looks a disciplinarian and a strong-arm as he grooms young Marines for combat in the Pacific war. In the end, as survival in the slaughterous battle of Iwo Jima hinges upon the lessons Stryker has drilled into them, his troops find out why he was so tough on them.
